Q's &A's

I just can't tell you enough times how much I love seeing a midwife!! It was a good appointment today. I love my appointments because it means another month closer to baby. I have never been one to have many questions for my Dr's. I just let them do their job, no questions asked. Well I suppose the forth time around is as good as any to start making my own choices. Therefor, questions.

Q1: Do I have to be hooked to the monitors the whole time?

A: Certainly not! If the nurse wants to check anything at any time she can just hold it on your belly.

Q2: Do I have to be hooked up to the IV constantly?
A: Certainly not! Even if tested positive for group b there is no need tho have it all the time. Just during the antibiotic.

Q3: I have seen deliveries as far as YouTube, baby shows on TV, and such. I do not want a mirror for my viewing pleasure during the delivery. But I would like to see my delivery. Can we record the birth?

A: Absolutely! I always figure if there is something I have done to require a lawsuit it was my own fault. If any complications arise I become textbook and talk through it all for what I am doing.

Check, check and check! I love my midwife!!!

Next thing for me will be my glucose test. She wrote down a list for what I need to do to pass. It is a funny list, as and I am not worried about not passing but I will do as she tells me to. And here I will not have my blood drawn once, but three times!!!! They do things a little bit crazy here. Oh well, I will be there for two hours that day. Better load a good movie on my nexus for that day...
