Big Spender Say Whaaat?

So I think I got the total of how much it will cost overall per diaper. $2.00. That's right folks. You can make your own cloth diapers for as little as $2.00 and sometimes even less. Now keep in mind I got my flannel for 87 cents a yard. But even then I didn't have to use as much flannel on it as I did. And I just bought snaps on amazon that will end up being 5 cents a snap. I will use 12 snaps on each diaper which will be 60 cents worth of snaps per diaper. Its GREAT!! So if all is totaled correctly (this does not include the soakers/inserts) 2 1/2 years worth of basic pocket diapers (12 for each stage) will only coast roughly $96!!!! Sweet!! That's like only 5 packages of disposable diapers which would only last a few months depending on how many diaper changes there are and what age. Sweet deal if you ask me!! (oops! this does not include the cost of the elastic I use. So if you want add like 50 cents to each one. I don't know off hand how much the elastic cost of how much it uses...)

My hubby however has jacked up the cost by purchasing applique patches to go on the bum!! It will be so cute. (Only for some of them.)
