Why Waddle?

Because walking hurts. I have reached that final stage of pelvic pain. I love it because it means I am nearing the end. I hate it because I am in pain. I have a bit of a love hate relationship with my boy at the moment. It will all be resolved once he is here.

I love that I am pregnant.
I love that our family is growing.
I love feeling his little movements.
I love the miracle in it all.
I love that my body is capable to have babies. (Here's to you Courtney)
I love the excitement in my other kids eyes.
I love my baby and have since I found out I was pregnant.

I hate not sleeping.
I hate his rear in my ribs.
I hate heartburn.
I hate pains and pinched nerves.
I hate that time seems be going slow.
I hate not finding a comfortable position.

See, love/hate. OK, OK, hate is a bit strong. But all that hate will be gone when he makes his way into this world. I am so excited. Sometimes I want to break out into song "The Final Countdown"!

In the meantime, Mothers Day is tomorrow and hubby is not around this weekend. I got to enjoy making cookies with one of my little guys yesterday. And today the other little guy helped me make a cake for tomorrow. I have been wanting to make the banana cream poke cake for sometime now and decided why not!! They both had fun helping. And later my little girl will help me prepare tomorrows dinner so I will not have to cook at all.

My littlest guy was noticing the pictures on one of my baby books that has real pictures (I think) of baby in-utero. And he declared to me that it was a real baby. So I opened it up and showed him the rest of the photos (like 7 of them). It was interesting to see his curiosity.

See, isn't he cute.

He is so into wanting to know what everything is for with all The baby stuff that's out now. Who wouldn't want to have more babies when they can be so darn cute!!!

  1. :) I hope you had a wonderful mother's day! I love the shout out!! I am so happy that you are able to have children and you are blessed with one more on the way. I got a car seat this weekend and that was fun trying to put it together with out instructions. I gave up and googled it. Prayers are still going to you and your family and you are always in my thoughts.
